Return & Refund Policy
Overview
Because Washington Family Provisions sells edible products and personal-care products, returns are limited for food-safety, sanitation, and quality-control reasons.
Food, Honey, Tea, and Consumable Products
All honey, tea, food, and other consumable-product sales are final. We cannot accept returns or exchanges of these products, including unopened products, once they have left our control. We will review requests involving products that arrived damaged, leaking, contaminated, defective, missing, or different from what was ordered.
Body Oils and Personal-Care Products
Unopened and unused body oils or personal-care products may be returned within 14 calendar days of delivery, provided that: the original tamper seal remains intact; the product has not been opened, tested, used, or altered; the product is returned in its original packaging; and proof of purchase is provided. Opened or used personal-care products cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons.
Non-Returnable Items
The following are final sale: food, honey, tea, and consumable products; opened or used personal-care products; custom, personalized, made-to-order, or bulk products; gift cards; clearance or final-sale products; and products damaged after delivery because of misuse or improper storage.
Requesting a Return
Before mailing any return, contact cs@washingtonfamilyprovisions.com with your order number and reason for the return. Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted. Unless the return is caused by our error or a verified damaged or defective product, the customer is responsible for return-shipping costs. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. Approved returns must be shipped with tracking.
Refunds
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method after the returned product has been received and inspected. Depending on Square and the customer's financial institution, it may take approximately 4–14 business days for the refund to appear.
